Festival on the 4th 2009 in World’s Fair Park

This year’s Festival on the Fourth in Knoxville, TN was fantastic! It was packed with friendly people and everyone I spoke with really enjoyed it. The Knoxville Symphony’s performance set the stage for the fireworks which were a perfect way to end the night. I love seeing World’s Fair Park full of people.

UT Athletics Pledges Additional $1 Million per Year Support of Academics

The University of Tennessee announces that the athletics department will be providing an additional $1 million of support to academics to the UT Knoxville campus each year beginning in 2009-10. The commitment will provide an additional $15 million to the Knoxville campus over the next 15 years.
