Country music legend Loretta Lynn headlines the 2011 Stars on Stage fundraiser for the Historic Tennessee Theatre Foundation, following in the footsteps of previous years’ headliners Al Green, BB King, Bill Cosby, Tony Bennett and Jay Leno. With 50 years of music under her belt as well as 50 years of firsts, Lynn is the perfect performer to debut a new generation of Stars on Stage annual events, dubbed “Tennessee Legends”. Stars on Stage is the non-profit theater’s annual fundraising event, which supports the Tennessee’s annual operating budget and helps ensure the preservation of this world-class performance venue. Buyers of the $125 VIP tickets enjoy the best seats in the house and also are invited to participate in a pre-show reception with drinks, food and a silent auction. The silent auction will end before doors open to the general public at 7:30 pm It will not be an event to miss! Prior to Loretta Lynn’s performance, a live auction will take place from the stage.
